This limited-edition design from our Pride 2025 collection is part of A Homage to Pride — a bold collaboration with queer artist and designer Matthew Hare (@mattmadedis).
Front and centre is the Lavender Rhino: a lesser-known but deeply powerful symbol of early LGBTQ+ liberation movements. First used in the 1970s by gay rights activists in Boston, the lavender rhino was chosen because it's quiet, gentle, misunderstood — but will charge when provoked. Lavender, already a colour coded to queerness, made the imagery even more defiant.
Reimagined through Matthew’s contemporary queer lens, this design honours those who came before us while pushing pride forward into something raw, radical, and beautifully Wilde.
